Clewiston sits on the southern shore of Lake Okeechobee along US 27, about 40 miles east of LaBelle. Known as “America’s Sweetest Town” for its ties to the sugar industry, Clewiston is home to around 7,500 residents.
Clewiston’s provider mix is better than many nearby rural areas, but still uneven by address. Comcast cable appears to cover most of the core city footprint, CenturyLink DSL remains widely present, and fiber availability is still patchy depending on the street and utility footprint. For households and businesses that need consistently strong performance, address-level verification is still essential.
