Frequently asked questions.
Answers to common questions about Streamline Internet. Speed, pricing, installation, coverage, contracts, and more for Hendry County and Golden Gate Estates.
What is Streamline Internet?
Streamline Internet is a locally owned and operated wireless internet service provider based in Southwest Florida, serving Hendry County, Golden Gate Estates, and surrounding communities. We deliver high-speed broadband using fixed wireless technology from a network of local towers.
Where does Streamline Internet provide service?
We currently serve LaBelle, Port LaBelle, Felda, Pioneer Plantation, Montura Ranch Estates, and Golden Gate Estates. Clewiston is an upcoming expansion area. Check your specific address at streamlineisp.com/check-availability.
Is Streamline Internet available at my address?
Coverage depends on whether your address is within range of one of our towers. Enter your address on our Check Availability page to confirm service at your location.
What speeds does Streamline offer?
Residential plans range from 100 Mbps (Essential) to 300 Mbps (MAX) with burst speeds up to 600 Mbps. Business plans offer the same speed tiers with added features.
What is the latency on Streamline Internet?
Typical latency is 10-30 milliseconds. That's comparable to cable and fiber, and dramatically faster than satellite internet (500+ ms). Low latency means smooth video calls, responsive gaming, and fast web browsing.
Is Streamline fast enough for online gaming?
Yes. With 10-30ms latency and speeds up to 600 Mbps, Streamline handles online gaming well. Most competitive games require under 50ms latency, and we deliver that consistently.
Is Streamline fast enough for streaming Netflix and YouTube?
Yes. Even our Essential plan at 100 Mbps can handle multiple simultaneous 4K streams. All plans include unlimited data, so you never hit a cap or get throttled.
Does Streamline have data caps?
No. Every Streamline plan includes truly unlimited data. No caps, no throttling, no overage fees. Stream, download, and upload as much as you want.
How much does Streamline Internet cost?
Residential plans start at $55/mo (Essential), $75/mo (Plus), and $95/mo (MAX). Business plans start at $99.99/mo. All plans include unlimited data and free standard installation.
Does Streamline require a contract?
No. Residential plans are month to month. Cancel anytime with no penalty. Business plans offer flexible contract terms with optional SLA.
Will my price ever go up?
No. Streamline offers a lifetime price lock on every plan. The price you sign up at is the price you keep. No introductory rates that expire. No annual increases.
Is there an installation fee?
Standard installation is free. A local technician installs a small outdoor antenna and sets up your indoor Wi-Fi router. Most installations take about an hour.
Do I need to buy any equipment?
No. All equipment is provided by Streamline, including the outdoor antenna and indoor Wi-Fi router. Plus and MAX plans include mesh Wi-Fi for whole-home coverage.
Do you offer first responder or military discounts?
Yes. Firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, 911 dispatchers, and active duty military save $5-$15/mo on any residential plan. Visit streamlineisp.com/first-responders for details.
How long does installation take?
Most customers are installed within a week of signing up. The installation itself takes about an hour. A local technician handles everything.
What equipment gets installed on my home?
A small outdoor antenna (roughly 10 by 10 inches) is mounted on your roof, exterior wall, or a pole. It connects to an indoor Wi-Fi router via a short cable run. The antenna is white or light gray and blends in.
What if I'm not sure if my address has coverage?
Check your address on our availability page. Streamline uses non-line-of-sight (NLOS) technology, so coverage isn't limited to homes with a perfectly clear path to a tower. We evaluate each address individually to confirm signal quality at your specific location.
How is Streamline different from satellite internet?
Satellite internet signals travel to orbit and back, adding 500+ ms of latency. Streamline signals travel a few miles to a local tower with 10-30ms latency. We also offer unlimited data with no caps, unlike most satellite plans.
How is Streamline different from DSL?
DSL runs over old telephone copper and speeds degrade with distance from the exchange. In rural Hendry County, DSL typically delivers under 25 Mbps. Streamline delivers 100-600 Mbps regardless of distance from town.
How does Streamline compare to Starlink?
Starlink costs $120/mo with a $599 equipment purchase. Streamline starts at $55/mo with free equipment. Starlink speeds are variable and depend on cell congestion. Streamline delivers consistent speeds with local support.
