Streamline Internet (“Streamline,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to providing open, transparent, and high-quality internet service to residential and business customers in Hendry County, Florida and Golden Gate Estates, Collier County, Florida. This Network Management Policy describes our practices in accordance with the FCC’s transparency requirements.
Network Architecture
Streamline operates a fixed wireless broadband network using Tarana G1 technology. Our network consists of base nodes deployed on towers throughout our service area, connected via redundant backhaul paths using a combination of fiber and licensed/unlicensed wireless links. Remote nodes (subscriber antennas) installed at customer premises connect wirelessly to the nearest base node.
Each tower site is equipped with battery backup power systems designed to maintain service during utility power outages.
Service Descriptions
Streamline offers residential, business, first responder, and Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) plans. All plans include unlimited data with no usage caps or overage charges. Specific speed tiers, pricing, and plan features are published on our Plans & Pricing page.
Speed representations: Advertised speeds represent the maximum throughput available under normal network conditions. Actual speeds may vary based on network congestion, distance from the serving tower, signal quality, customer equipment, and the number of devices connected to the customer’s network.
Burst speeds: Certain residential and first responder plans include burst capability, which allows temporary speeds above the plan’s sustained rate when network capacity is available. Burst speeds are not guaranteed and are subject to real-time network conditions.
Congestion Management
Streamline employs standard congestion management practices to ensure a quality experience for all subscribers:
- Fair queuing: During periods of network congestion, bandwidth is allocated fairly across active subscribers on a given sector. No individual subscriber’s traffic is prioritized over another subscriber on the same plan tier.
- Per-subscriber rate limiting: Each subscriber connection is managed to the speed tier associated with their service plan. This ensures that no single subscriber can monopolize shared network capacity.
- Dynamic bandwidth allocation: Our network supports programmable downlink/uplink ratios per sector, allowing us to optimize capacity allocation based on real-time demand patterns.
- Peak hours: Network congestion is most likely during peak usage periods, typically weekday evenings (5:00 PM–11:00 PM) and weekends. During these periods, individual subscriber speeds may be lower than during off-peak hours.
We do not single out individual subscribers, applications, or content for throttling. Congestion management is applied uniformly across all users on a congested sector.
Blocking
Streamline does not block lawful content, applications, services, or non-harmful devices on our network. We reserve the right to block:
- Traffic identified as part of denial-of-service attacks or other network security threats
- Known malware command-and-control traffic
- Traffic that violates applicable law
Throttling
Streamline does not throttle or degrade lawful internet traffic based on content, application, service, user, or device. All traffic is treated equally within a subscriber’s plan speed tier.
Paid Prioritization
Streamline does not engage in paid prioritization. We do not accept compensation from third parties to prioritize their traffic over other traffic on our network.
Dedicated Internet Access (DIA)
DIA connections provide dedicated, symmetric bandwidth that is not shared with other subscribers. DIA service includes a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with uptime guarantees and priority restoration. DIA traffic management is governed by the terms of the individual customer’s service agreement.
Application-Specific Behavior
Streamline does not use deep packet inspection or other techniques to identify, monitor, or treat specific applications differently. We do not favor or degrade any particular application, protocol, or service.
Security Practices
Streamline employs standard network security measures to protect our infrastructure and customers, including:
- Monitoring for and mitigating distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
- Blocking known malicious traffic sources when necessary to protect network integrity
- Maintaining firewall and access control protections on network infrastructure
- Supporting customer use of VPNs and encrypted communications without interference
Resale Prohibition
Residential, first responder, and standard business internet plans are provided for use at the subscriber’s premises only. Subscribers may not resell, redistribute, or share their connection with third parties beyond their premises, including but not limited to operating as an internet service provider, offering paid or unpaid WiFi access to non-household members, or extending service to adjacent properties.
This restriction does not apply to Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) customers, whose usage rights are governed by their individual service agreements.
Violation of this provision may result in service suspension or termination.
Legal Compliance and Data Retention
Streamline complies with all applicable federal and state laws regarding the operation of our network, including:
- CALEA (Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act): We maintain the capability to assist law enforcement agencies with lawfully authorized electronic surveillance in accordance with CALEA requirements.
- CSAM reporting: Streamline will report any known or suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations related to CSAM and will comply with valid subpoenas, court orders, and other legal process requesting subscriber information in connection with such investigations.
- Subpoenas and legal process: We will disclose subscriber information in response to valid subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, and other legal process as required by law. We may retain network logs, connection records, and other data necessary to respond to lawful requests.
- Copyright (DMCA): Streamline complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and will respond to valid takedown notices and repeat infringer complaints in accordance with applicable law.
Prohibited Uses
Subscribers may not use Streamline’s service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:
- Transmitting, distributing, or storing material that violates any applicable law
- Unauthorized access to other computers, networks, or systems
- Distribution of malware, viruses, or other malicious software
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
- Activities that interfere with other subscribers’ use of the network
- Operating servers or services in violation of the resale prohibition above (residential and standard business plans)
Network Performance Disclosure
Consistent with FCC requirements, Streamline discloses the following performance characteristics:
| Plan | Download | Upload | Latency (typical) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential (100/20) | 100 Mbps | 20 Mbps | 10–30 ms |
| Plus (200/40) | 200 Mbps | 40 Mbps | 10–30 ms |
| MAX (300/60) | 300 Mbps | 60 Mbps | 10–30 ms |
| Business Essential | 100 Mbps | 20 Mbps | 10–30 ms |
| Business Plus | 200 Mbps | 40 Mbps | 10–30 ms |
| Business MAX | 300 Mbps | 60 Mbps | 10–30 ms |
Latency measurements represent typical round-trip times under normal network conditions. Actual latency may vary based on destination server, routing, and network load.
