I would just like internet. We live off Rock Rd off Immokalee and out neighbors have DSL but no body will provide service to our house. We use a Verizon Hot Spot now……

Joshua, I am very sorry to hear that your only option is a Verizon Hot Spot. We have received your plan request and will be in touch with you regarding an estimated timeline of when we will be able to get you online!

I’ve been stuck with 10 mbps download speed centurylink connection for 13 years now, all the while being promised that infrastructure improvements are “just around the corner”. I’d HAPPILY pay for a better connection with fast ping and bettet speeds.

I can sympathize with that. I used to have Centurylink and the most they could get us was 3 Mbps download. It was horrible. No doubt many people would sign up.

Chuck, I’m very sorry to hear about Centurylink’s empty promises. You will not have to deal with the same negative experience at Streamline. If you could please visit the home page and either fill out the contact us form or sign up for the package you are interested in. We will be able to let you know when you are eligible for service, and if you’re not we will have another data point to help guide our deployment efforts and get you online faster!

Hi Colleen, I’m sorry that you are finding out about the internet situation now. Unfortunately, Comcast and Centurylink don’t think enough people live in the estates to justify a build-out of newer infrastructure. Streamline currently is not providing internet to 40th st Ne, however, we have a new tower coming online at the beginning of October that should be able to service your home. We are scheduling installations on a first-signup-first-install basis and already have 40 customers waiting. If you are interested in getting our high-speed service as quickly as possible I would definitely recommend signing up now for the plan you’re interested in!

Hello, we have struggled with internet needs for nearly a decade out here in Golden Gate Estates. There are plenty of customers who are stuck with Hughesnet, or Viasat and nothing else. If anything reliable, and high-speed comes to this market, it will grow quickly. I am currently also signed up on the waiting list for Starlink internet.
    1. Preferably, both. A high speed option, that is cost effective would bring competition to companies like Starlink who do charge a lot for their rural service!
    2. Control is important to a degree. Technologies on the router/modem and ability to edit settings is very important. For example, QoS, port-forwarding, etc.
    3. I am aware of the weaknesses of certain router/modem protection, such was WEP, and WPA2. As long as the router/modem offers WPA2 encryption, or higher, security is not a concern :).

Thank you very much for considering the Esates, we are in dire need of something good and soon! Competition is the life blood of the consumer!

Alejandro, thank you so much for your in-depth response! Unlike the big guys, we plan to grow our plans as our network grows. As long as the hardware installed at your home can handle the speeds we will be rolling out free speed upgrades whenever our network is upgraded. This means the value of our plans will only increase over time!
      2. Not only will we be able to give you control into your QoS, port-forwarding, etc. We are also going to make it easy to add guest networks, control device access to the internet based on both time and the sites they access AND allow you to quickly and easily turn off the connection to any device in your network
      3. Rest assured we will be using WPA2 and notify you of any devices that might be a security compromise to your system!

I’ve been begging Centurylink to replace our DSL wires for 15yrs. Would love to have internet that doesn’t go out every time it rains.

If you go to our homepage and sign-up for the plan you are most interested in, we can keep you up-to-date on when you can expect service to be available to your home!

I live on Sugarberry. And I would really like to have reliable internet that I can stream and run my granddaughters CPU that they need to do homework on.
I have CenturyLink now and can’t get more than 2 sometimes 3mbps.
But I pay for 4. Big deal. They keeps saying we can’t get anymore than that unless we get another 150 people to move out here.
We don’t want that because we love the wildlife.

      Hi Evelyn,

Unlike Centurylink, we do not require more people to get you the speeds you deserve! I have sent you an email following up on this so we can work on getting you online! 🙂

I have been using bonded DSL for the last 5 years since we moved out here in GGE, been signed up on the waitlist for StarliInk since it became an option as they are really only real options out here, at least till I saw this. I know some areas have the cable ran for Xfinity but unfortunately it’s not on our street, tried to get them to run it but they want at least 5 or more houses on street or all neighbors need to pay the thousands of dollars for it, No Way to both. Glad your providing an option. I want full control from the modem/gateway/bridge, whichever technology you’ll be using. I run all my own routers, firewalls, switches, AP’s. Just need a line that provides more than the 20mb bonded DSL provides with better reliability. Since the pandemic I work 100% from home as does the wife, as does most of my neighbors.
I’m a Security Architect with over 20 yrs experience and would offer to assist and help to get this rolled out asap.

      Hi Ashley,

I believe we just emailed you back, but our gear will be mounted on the tower 10/4-10/8. We might be able to finish sooner if the weather decides to play nicely. After that, we are going to need a week or two to test the systems and make sure they are ready to provide the reliable high-speed internet you’re looking for! Once our tests are complete we will begin working on installing our customer’s that are on the waiting list 🙂

My daughter was in PRH-( Go Bears!) with the whole Covid thing she stayed home and did Virtual Home School for her Senior Year (bummer)…but the School gave us a device that we used for her online schooling. What type of device was this & will your product be similar? Why can all of GG Estates have that apparatus?

Hey Mari, I’m very sorry to hear about your daughter’s experience with remote learning last year. The school’s have built their own network in immakolee, I am not too certain what they did in GGE. They might have paid for a hotspot plan through one of the cell phone providers. Because last I had checked with my contact at the schools, they didn’t build a system in GGE because its more affluent than other areas in their jurisdiction. Also, you are on my list of people I need to call! I’ll be reaching out either today or tomorrow to chat 🙂

Hi Yurka, I believe we have spoken already. But unfortunately we cannot service you with the gear we are running on our southern tower. I will be more than happy to reach back out to you once we can get you online! I am very confident that you would love your experience on our network. My customers are able to stream, zoom and game all at the same time 🙂

    Hello,

So, we just recently moved to Naples in April of last year. We have not had any luck with any internet providers yet. We currently have HughesNet but unfortunately, it is not nearly as fast it is needs to be for our household. It has been our only option. We need the internet since my mom and I work from home, my sister and I only do online learning for school. We also love to stream movies, shows, etc and it has been difficult with the internet we currently have.
